Is a holographic optical sight the same as a red dot sight?
We said holograms and red dots are definitely different. As the most common sight is also known as the base sight. The two sights that are preferred by everyone are the red dot sight and the holographic sight.
The advantage of a red dot scope is that it has a red auxiliary circle with a red dot in the middle. This is convenient for us to aim at the enemy at close range, and the effect is very good when the accuracy is not required. And the border of the red dot is much smaller than the hologram, the mirror speed is faster, and it is convenient to observe the situation near the enemy while shooting at the enemy, while the hologram will block some vision.
The holographic scope is able to zoom in, although not much different from the red dot scope. But the holographic left eye can search for a target, and the right eye can use the projected hologram and the position of the aiming point to aim and shoot. Compared with the red dot sight, the holographic sight has a better fast aiming effect, and the effective aiming distance can reach 100 meters or even more. Due to the hologram used, there are also low requirements for shooting posture and shooting training.
