The advantages of a reflective scope are obvious

The optical sight is simple in structure, relatively low in price, light in weight and easy to carry. There is no image amplification function, so there is no exit pupil distance limit, and it can be installed on the gun at any distance from the human eye. It is also because there is no image amplification function, so you can observe both eyes at the same time when aiming, which is easy to grasp the battlefield situation;

The aiming principle determines that the user can quickly aim at the target through it, which is especially suitable for the battle in the advance distance and high mobility state;

When the reflective sight fails, the original mechanical sight can be directly used for aiming, without the need to specifically remove it, which can shorten the reaction time in emergency situations.

Reflective scopes also have some inherent disadvantages:

1. There is no image amplification function, which is not conducive to viewing over a longer distance. However, this problem can be solved by mounting in series with the telescopic sight.

2. The intensity of the existing lighting source is weak, resulting in low brightness of the segmentation image, especially in the strong light environment is not easy to see the segmentation.

3. External light, so it may be found by the other party's night vision observation equipment when used at night.

4. Spherical aberrations and coma aberrations exist in divided images (note that they are not parallax). It is easy to appear on some low-end and cheap products, and you will see that there is a halo around the spot of the dividing image, or the spot is not a perfect circle but is stretched and deformed, which will affect the aiming accuracy. The more complex the shape of the segmentation image, the more serious the aberration, the aberration can be eliminated by multiple groups of curved prism compensation, but it will increase the cost.
